A module string is created by solar modules or individual solar cells that are connected in series. The advantage of the series connection is the self-contained circuit, which minimizes energy losses in the system and achieves an optimal voltage range. Impairments to one or more modules in the row, for example due to shading, reduce the performance of the entire system. Special performance optimizers largely prevent these performance losses. |
